The National Assembly witnessed a heavy protest earlier today over the siege on the National Assembly by personnel of the Department of State Services, DSS.
It was reported that the DSS operatives prevented Senators and House of Reps members from gaining access to the National Assembly.
The siege by the DSS was learnt to be allegedly part of a plot to impeach the Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
Watch video below:According to a media report, a group called ‘The Defenders of Democracy’ were seen protesting at the National Assembly complex accusing the Presidency of running a dictatorship Government.
