Lawal Daura, former DSS boss has been detained on the orders of the Acting President, after meeting with him shortly, for for breaching national security.

As a start, I have directed that the appointment of the DG of the DSS, Mr. Lawal Daura be terminated.

He has been directed to hand over to the most Senior Officer in the State Security Service.
