The legal battle involving VeryDarkMan and Blord is set to continue after the case was adjourned to December 8, 2026.

VeryDarkMan said he was at the court for the case and noted that Blord left the courtroom alongside his Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). According to him, this happened despite an earlier indication from Omoyele Sowore that the case would be discontinued.

For VeryDarkMan, the development has changed his position on the matter. He said he had previously considered letting the case go, but now wants to see it through, particularly because of what he described as Sowore’s position on ending the case.

He addressed Sowore directly, saying:

“I’m in court today over my case with Blord. Dear Omoyele Sowore, Blord just left the court with his SAN in the same case you said you would discontinue.

Now, use the same mouth you used to say you would end the case and tell them that you cannot end a case that involves VeryDarkMan.

The case has been adjourned to December 8, 2026. Even if this case takes 10 years, we will see it through to the end.

And lastly, please step down from the presidential race and try something else, maybe councillor or local government chairman in your state, because you can never become president.

Ordinarily, I would have let go of this case with Blord, but I want to show Sowore that he cannot simply end a case.”

With the next hearing now fixed for December 8, the matter is expected to remain before the court. VeryDarkMan’s comments make it clear that he intends to continue with the case rather than walk away from it.

His main concern, as expressed in the statement, is not only the dispute involving Blord but also Sowore’s earlier position that the case could be brought to an end.

For now, the case remains pending, with both sides expected to return to court when proceedings resume in December.

The tension between VeryDarkMan and Sowore grew out of the legal trouble involving Blord. The dispute between VeryDarkMan and Blord had been building since 2025, after VeryDarkMan publicly criticised some of Blord’s business activities. It later became a legal matter after VeryDarkMan accused Blord of using his image and identity without permission in promotional materials. Blord was subsequently arraigned at the Federal High Court in Abuja and remanded in Kuje Correctional Centre.

Sowore became involved after Blord’s remand. He publicly condemned the detention and said he would work to secure Blord’s release and push for the case to be discontinued. That position did not sit well with VeryDarkMan, who challenged Sowore over his involvement and warned that he would not allow anyone to simply bring the case to an end.

The disagreement between the two men then moved beyond the original Blord matter. Even after Blord was granted bail and there were signs that he and VeryDarkMan were willing to settle aspects of their dispute, VeryDarkMan said the matter had become more about his disagreement with Sowore. At one point, he described the situation as being about showing Sowore that he could not simply determine what happened to the case.

That history explains why VeryDarkMan is now insisting that the case should continue, despite Sowore’s earlier position that it should be discontinued. With the matter adjourned to December 8, 2026, the dispute between VeryDarkMan and Sowore remains tied closely to the unresolved court case involving Blord.
