Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has commenced construction of a physical base for her newly established ministry, New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), following the laying of its foundation.
The actress announced the development on Instagram, where she shared a video showing herself leading members of the ministry to the project site. The gathering included prayers and a dedication of the construction work to God as preparations began for the ministry’s new base.
Dikeh accompanied the video with a message expressing her desire to commit the project to God and acknowledging the support of her spiritual father.
“Lord, we humbly dedicate this work into Your hands,” she captioned the post.
“May it serve its ultimate purpose for Your glory, and may every hand be blessed.
“To my spiritual father, thank you, PAPA, for your selfless leadership and for raising a generation of steadfast soldiers for the Kingdom. We love and honour you deeply.”
Foundation Laid for New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle
The commencement of construction marks a new stage in the development of NWPT, which Dikeh unveiled in August.
The actress’s latest post showed her at the project site with members of the ministry as they prayed over the work and entrusted the construction process to God.
Her message placed emphasis on the spiritual purpose of the project, with Dikeh expressing hope that the proposed facility would fulfil its intended role and bring glory to God.
She also offered prayers for those who would participate in the construction, asking that every hand involved in the work be blessed.
Although details about the project’s location, construction timeline and expected completion date were not provided in the announcement, the foundation-laying ceremony signals the beginning of efforts to establish a physical base for the ministry.
Actress Unveiled Ministry in August
Dikeh introduced New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle in August, describing it as “a spiritual home of consecrated believers”.
Explaining the ministry’s vision, she said it seeks “to see a global awakening of consecrated believers operating in the raw power, purity, and presence of God transforming nations”.
She also outlined its mission as building “an interdenominational altar of prayer and revival”.
The statements presented the ministry as an initiative focused on prayer, revival and spiritual consecration, with an ambition to reach believers beyond a single denomination.
The foundation-laying development follows that announcement, as the actress moves towards establishing a physical location for the religious organisation.
Dikeh’s Growing Involvement in Christian Ministry
The establishment of NWPT comes amid Dikeh’s growing public involvement in Christian activities following her declaration of faith last year.
The actress has also been associated with the NSPPD ministry led by cleric Jerry Eze, where she has participated in spiritual activities.
She has previously spoken about what she described as her deliverance from sexual immorality, anger, masturbation and addiction since embracing Christianity.
Her public accounts of her faith journey have formed part of her engagement with religious activities and discussions about personal transformation.
In March, Dikeh also conducted a deliverance session for a female secondary school student, another example of her participation in activities centred on prayer and spiritual intervention.
Her latest announcement adds the development of her own ministry to these activities, with NWPT now moving from its public unveiling towards establishing a dedicated physical base.
A New Stage for NWPT
The foundation-laying ceremony represents a practical step in Dikeh’s plans for New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle.
Through the ministry’s stated vision and mission, the actress has outlined an emphasis on consecrated believers, prayer and revival. The construction project is intended to provide a physical base for the organisation as it pursues those objectives.
Her Instagram post also highlighted the importance she places on spiritual leadership, with the actress expressing gratitude to her spiritual father for his leadership and role in raising committed believers.
While the ministry’s construction timeline and other project details remain undisclosed, Dikeh has confirmed that work has commenced through the foundation-laying announcement.
The development follows the ministry’s launch in August and marks another step in the actress’s involvement in Christian ministry.
