Nigerian content creator Peller has made it clear that he is not ready to end his marriage to Jarvis, despite the challenges the couple have faced in their relationship.

The content creator dismissed the idea of divorce, insisting that their marital issues are not a way to attract attention or boost their online presence. He also expressed frustration with people who have sent him messages encouraging him to leave his wife, saying he would rather work through their problems than bring the marriage to an end.

According to Peller, some people have focused on the incident involving the couple and suggested that he should divorce Jarvis. However, he believes the situation should have been handled differently, with more emphasis on encouraging his wife to show respect within their marriage rather than advising him to walk away.

He also pointed out that their marriage is still relatively young and maintained that he has been caring towards Jarvis. For him, the problems they are experiencing are not enough reason to consider ending the relationship.

Peller further explained that his decision to remain married is influenced by the legal implications he believes would follow a divorce. He referred to documents from their court wedding, claiming that ending the marriage could result in a four-year prison sentence and the loss of 30 per cent of his property.

He said he had gone through the paperwork again after returning home and was not willing to put himself in a situation that could lead to such consequences.

In his words:

“My wife and I aren’t suffering for views. We’re not fighting to rack up engagement or trend. That thing that happened that day na something wey be say Una fit tell her please be respecting your husband. No be say Una go come dey tell me divorce. Marriage wey never tey. Marriage wey be say I dey pamper. Una wey come my DM say make I divorce I don block Una o. No be TikTok glitch. Divorcing my wife now would mean going to prison for four years and giving her 30% of my property. That’s the consequence of my court wedding. I read the paper yesterday , that paper still dey my house. Una one put me for trouble come forget person for jail. I no dey follow Una do that one. I’m not divorcing her. I go love my wife till we kpai ni. I read that paper clear yesterday evening as I come house. They say na 4 years you go first do for prison...."

Despite the difficulties in their relationship, Peller maintained that he has no intention of filing for divorce. He also made it clear that he has blocked people who have approached him privately to encourage him to end the marriage.

His comments suggest that, for now, he intends to remain with Jarvis rather than give in to calls for separation. While he has spoken about the consequences he believes a divorce would bring, he also reaffirmed his commitment to loving his wife for the rest of his life.

Peller and Jarvis have continued to attract attention over developments in their relationship, but Peller's position remains clear: he is not planning to divorce his wife.
