Content creator and social media personality OBA Solomon has given a glimpse into how he wants his family to handle his burial, making several unusual requests while speaking to members of his church.
Among his instructions, he said he wants to be buried in his bedroom rather than have his body taken elsewhere for burial. He also warned that anyone who chooses to disregard his wishes would face consequences, insisting that the decision concerns his own home.
He said:
“Listen to me very carefully. When I d+e, move my bed from my room and bury me there. Anybody who flouts this instruction will drop d+ad because it’s my house.”
He also addressed how he expects people to react when news of his death eventually comes out. Rather than having friends and loved ones mourn him, OBA Solomon said he would prefer that they refrain from crying, adding a stern warning to anyone who ignores that request.
“After that, when my de.ath is announced, anyone who cries will be struck de.ad by thunder. Cry for yourself, not for me. I don’t cry for people, so don’t cry for me.”
The content creator further spoke about what should happen to his body before burial. He said he does not want to be embalmed and wants his family to wait for a few hours before proceeding, explaining that he wants to allow time in case he regains consciousness.
“Also do not embalm me. When I d+e leave me for about 4 hours incase I redirect after that, bury me. If I d!e in the morning, leave me till around 4pm. If it’s in the night leave me till around afternoon, if I don’t wake up, bury me”
On the issue of his coffin, OBA Solomon said his family should not spend money on an elaborate casket. He maintained that a simple wooden option would be enough, making it clear that he has no particular interest in an expensive burial arrangement.
He also spoke directly about his wife and what he believes should happen to their relationship after his death. According to him, she would be free to move on and find another partner as early as the following day. He compared this to what he said he would do if their positions were reversed.
“I am not keen on a fancy casket, just use any form of wood. You who are my wife, you are free to seek another partner from the next day. Because if you d+e, I will have s£x the same day, so you are free. And it has become a decree as I have spoken it” he concluded.
His remarks covered everything from the location of his burial and the handling of his body to mourning customs, funeral expenses and his wife's future relationships. He presented these requests as instructions he wants followed when the time comes.
