Nollywood romantic thriller Tiger’s Tail has officially made its streaming debut, giving movie lovers another Nigerian production to watch online.
The film premiered on October 17, 2026, and is available to stream on Victor Okpala Premium TV. The production combines romance, crime, suspense and drama, with its storyline centred on a woman whose efforts to help vulnerable young people put her directly in the path of a dangerous gang leader.
Tigers Tail follows Amara Nzewi, a UK-trained psychology graduate who returns with a desire to make a difference in the lives of street boys. Determined to help rehabilitate them, she establishes a foundation focused on supporting and giving vulnerable young people another opportunity.
However, Amara’s plans take a dangerous turn when she is kidnapped by a ruthless gang leader known as Tombra Tiger.
Her abduction becomes the central point of the thriller, placing her in a situation that is far removed from the humanitarian work she set out to pursue. The encounter with Tombra Tiger introduces the crime and suspense elements that drive the story forward.
The film’s romantic thriller label also adds another dimension to the narrative, bringing personal relationships into a storyline shaped by danger, power and criminal activity.
Tacha Makes Movie Debut
Tigers Tail features a notable cast that includes the late actor Alexx Ekubo, reality television star Natacha “Tacha” Akide and actor Zubby Michael.
For Tacha, the production marks her debut in Nollywood, adding acting to the list of areas in which she has built a public profile.
Her appearance in the movie makes Tiger’s Tail an important project in her career, as audiences get to see her take on her first movie role.
Alexx Ekubo, who also features in the production, was known for his work in Nollywood and appeared in a number of Nigerian film and entertainment projects. His presence in Tiger’s Tail adds another recognisable name to the cast.
Zubby Michael, another established Nollywood actor, also features in the thriller.
Together, the cast brings different experiences from Nigerian entertainment to a production built around a dramatic encounter between an aspiring humanitarian and a feared gang leader.
Story Centres On Amara’s Mission
At the centre of the film is Amara Nzewi’s decision to establish a foundation for the rehabilitation of street boys.
Her background as a UK-trained psychology graduate informs her interest in helping young people facing difficult circumstances. Rather than simply pursuing a conventional career after completing her education, she chooses to dedicate herself to a cause focused on rehabilitation.
That mission, however, exposes her to circumstances she may not have anticipated.
Her kidnapping by Tombra Tiger changes the direction of her story and places her in the hands of a gang leader described as ruthless. The situation creates the foundation for the suspense that runs through the movie.
As a romantic thriller, the production brings together its central themes of love, danger and survival. Amara’s humanitarian efforts and subsequent encounter with Tombra Tiger provide the main conflict around which the narrative develops.
