Nigerian content creators Peller and Jarvis have released maternity photos, months after their highly publicised wedding and repeated denials of pregnancy speculation.
The couple became legally married in Lagos on July 29, 2026, before their white wedding on August 1. Their relationship had attracted considerable attention long before they exchanged vows, with their engagement and wedding preparations frequently making headlines.
Pregnancy rumours surfaced again shortly before their wedding after photos from their pre-wedding shoot showed Jarvis placing a hand around her midsection. Some followers interpreted the appearance of her stomach as a possible baby bump, although neither Jarvis nor Peller confirmed that she was expecting.
The speculation continued after the wedding, particularly as followers noticed changes in Jarvis’ appearance.
Jarvis addressed the reports in August and firmly denied being pregnant. She explained that her fuller appearance was connected to weight-gain medication she had been taking.
“Getting pregnant is not a bad thing. But I’m not pregnant. Please calm down. I already told you guys that I’m taking weight gain,” she said.
Peller also responded to the pregnancy reports later in August. According to the streamer, he would find it difficult to keep such major news private if his wife were actually expecting.
“If truly my wife is pregnant, the world will know immediately. Me that my mouth doesn’t stay in one place. You, people know I can’t keep secrets,” Peller said.
He added that he would have accidentally revealed the news if there were a pregnancy, while also suggesting that Jarvis’ changed appearance could be linked to bloating.
The latest maternity photos have now brought the subject back into focus, with the images prompting renewed questions about whether the couple are expecting their first child.
However, their previous statements remain important context. Jarvis explicitly denied the pregnancy reports in August, while Peller also rejected the speculation later that month.
The couple's pregnancy status should therefore not be presented as confirmed unless Peller and Jarvis themselves make an official announcement.
Their wedding journey began with traditional marriage proceedings before their civil ceremony and white wedding, making 2026 a significant year in their relationship.
