“We Now Have Access To Mr. President” — Cubana Chief Priest Gives Reason For Backing Tinubu In 2027

Cubana Chief Priest has given his reason for supporting President Bola Tinubu’s return to office, saying the South-East now has a closer connection to the presidency through Seyi Tinubu, the President’s son.

Speaking during a campaign event in Imo State, he told people in the state that the relationship was one of the reasons he believes they should continue supporting Tinubu.

According to him, having access to someone close to the President gives Igbos an opportunity to present their concerns and make their voices heard at the highest level of government.

“We Igbos now have access to Mr. President through his son, Seyi Tinubu. That’s why we’re doing everything to make sure he’s re-elected", he said.

His argument was simple: rather than staying on the sidelines, he believes the people of the South-East should use whatever connection they have with the presidency to pursue their interests.

For Cubana Chief Priest, Seyi Tinubu’s relationship with people from the region is important because it creates what he sees as an easier route for communication with the President. He suggested that this access could be useful in getting the attention of the federal government on issues that matter to people in Imo State and the wider South-East.

The businessman and social figure has been openly supportive of Tinubu, and his latest comments were centred on the political calculation behind that support.
