Controversial activist VeryDarkman has spoken about reports that actress Regina Daniels has returned to her husband, politician and businessman Ned Nwoko, following the issues that recently surrounded their marriage.
While reacting to the development, VeryDarkman said he was pleased to hear that Regina had returned to her husband. He also questioned the argument that the actress decided to go back mainly because of her children.
According to him, Regina remained a mother to her children even during the period she was away from her husband, making him wonder why her children should now be presented as the main reason for her reported return.
“Regina Daniels has gone back to the husband. I'm very happy. Somebody said Regina Daniels only went back because of her children. She no see the children when she go before? Why she no care much about the children to stay before? If na poor man she go come back?”.
VeryDarkman also addressed comments about the circumstances surrounding Regina’s marriage to Ned Nwoko. Some people have argued that Regina was very young when she entered the relationship and that the age difference between the two made her vulnerable to being taken advantage of.
The activist, however, rejected that position and instead placed much of the responsibility on Regina’s mother. He maintained that, in his view, her mother played a major role in how the relationship developed.
“They said she was so young, he took advantage of the girl. Bro the person that took advantage of the girl was the mother. And I'll still say it. The mother is still that girl's problem until this world will end. Regina has no blame in all of this. Two adults took advantage of the girl, simple.”
He went further to argue that Regina’s mother was instrumental in the relationship even though, according to him, her actions did not have the approval of Regina’s father.
“The mother engineered the whole thing even without her father's consent. She no allow the girl explore. You know how old Ned dey? Their generations are far apart. Him generation dey far. Regina Daniels generation dey even below our own..”
VeryDarkman’s comments focused largely on the circumstances surrounding Regina’s marriage and the people he believes should take responsibility for how the relationship began.
He also pointed to the significant age difference between Regina and Ned, noting that they belong to very different generations. For him, the age gap is an important part of understanding the situation, particularly because Regina was considerably younger when she got married.
His comments come as attention remains focused on the relationship between Regina and Ned following the recent difficulties in their marriage. Rather than blaming Regina for the situation, VeryDarkman maintained that the actress should not carry the responsibility for decisions that were made by the adults around her at the time.
For now, the reported return of Regina to Ned has renewed discussions about the couple’s relationship, but VeryDarkman’s position is that the focus should also be placed on the circumstances that led to their marriage in the first place.
