Nollywood actress Seyi Edun has joined the growing list of celebrities proudly showing off their new rides after receiving a Lexus as a gift from her husband, actor Adeniyi Johnson.
The actress shared videos of herself with the new car on social media while expressing gratitude for the thoughtful gesture. In her message, she thanked her husband for the gift and prayed for God’s continued blessings and perfection over everything concerning him.
Edun wrote, “In all we give thanks. Sibe sibe Oluwadarasiwa. Grace, mercy, new keys, new chapters; God has been too faithful. @adeniyijohnson, you no go fall, babami; may God perfect all that concerns you. Thanks so much.”
A Gift Filled With Gratitude
Beyond showing off her new automobile, Edun’s message reflected her appreciation for her husband and the journey they have shared together.
Her prayer for Johnson came as another public display of the bond between the couple, who have frequently celebrated each other on social media and spoken about the support they receive from one another.
The latest gesture also comes after several occasions where Johnson has openly praised his wife and acknowledged her contributions to their family and relationship.
In June, the actor celebrated Edun on her birthday, describing her as his happiness, peace of mind and “mumu button”. He also appreciated her for understanding, tolerating and supporting him.

On Mother’s Day, Johnson similarly celebrated Edun, describing her as his “small mummy” and the mother of his wonderful children.
The actor thanked her for holding the home front together while also acknowledging her support and prayers. He said he did not take her efforts for granted and reaffirmed his love for her.
The actor had also showered praise on his wife on her birthday the previous year, noting that no epistle could adequately quantify the love and happiness she radiates.
He further appreciated her for consistently keeping the home front and standing by him.
Couple Continue To Celebrate Their Marriage
The couple have also used social media to revisit memorable moments from their relationship.
Last year, Johnson and Edun shared an adorable video of themselves dressed in wedding attire as they celebrated their union and made a lifetime commitment to each other.
On another occasion, Johnson melted hearts with a throwback photograph of himself and Edun. While reflecting on their relationship, he joked that his wife had stolen his heart despite the fact that he had initially been the one crushing on her.
The actor also used the opportunity to boast about his physical appearance in his characteristic playful manner.
In 2024, Johnson penned an emotional love letter to his wife, describing her as a source of strength and motivation even when they faced situations that appeared impossible.
The father of two expressed gratitude to Edun for agreeing to become his partner and ended the message with a declaration of love, noting that words alone could not fully express how he felt about her.

Johnson has also demonstrated his protective side when his wife’s work has attracted attention.
He once called out his colleague, Habeeb Alagbe, after the actor shared a steamy kissing scene with Edun in a movie. Johnson questioned whether Alagbe was unaware that his colleague was married and expressed surprise at what he described as the actor’s boldness.
The couple have, however, also faced social media controversies.
In 2022, Johnson addressed photos and a video showing him spending time with another woman. He explained that the woman was a fan who later chose to act mischievously.
Edun subsequently responded positively to his explanation, showing support for her husband amid the online discussion.
With the latest Lexus gift, Johnson and Edun have once again given fans a glimpse into their relationship, with the actress expressing gratitude while celebrating what she described as a new chapter marked by “new keys.”
