Nigerian media entrepreneur and filmmaker Mo Abudu has marked her 62nd birthday with an inspiring message, encouraging people not to allow their age to prevent them from pursuing their dreams and ambitions.

The media mogul, who celebrated her birthday on Friday, September 11, reflected on the different stages of her career and some of the major milestones she has achieved over the years.

She revealed that her journey in the media industry began at the age of 40 when she started Moments with Mo. At a time when many people might consider starting a completely new career difficult, she took the opportunity to establish herself in television and entertainment.

Her career continued to develop, with Mo Abudu venturing into filmmaking at the age of 50. She recalled making her first film at that stage of her life, opening another chapter in a career that would eventually include several major Nigerian film and television projects.

Some of the productions associated with her career include The Wedding Party, Chief Daddy, Oloture and Blood Sisters.

Through these projects, she continued to expand her influence across Nigeria's entertainment and media industries.

At 55, she launched EbonyLife Place in Lagos, creating an entertainment and lifestyle destination. Now at 62, she is taking another major step by expanding EbonyLife Place to London.

For the media mogul, these milestones demonstrate that there is no specific age at which people must stop pursuing their dreams.

She wants people to understand that starting something later in life does not mean success is impossible.

She encouraged people to stop viewing age as a limitation and instead focus on the things they still want to accomplish.

According to her, anyone with an idea they want to develop or a project they want to build should take the first step rather than assume they have missed their opportunity.

Her own journey, she explained, is proof that major achievements can happen at different stages of life. She started her media career at 40, made her first film at 50, launched EbonyLife Place in Lagos at 55 and is now expanding the venture internationally at 62.

Her message also serves as encouragement to women who may feel pressured by expectations about when certain professional achievements should happen. Her career demonstrates that success does not necessarily follow a fixed timetable.

As she celebrates another year, Mo Abudu continues to pursue new opportunities across entertainment, media and business.

The planned expansion of EbonyLife Place to London represents another significant step in her ongoing career.

The media mogul's birthday message ultimately encourages people to keep moving forward regardless of their age.

For her, reaching 62 is not a reason to slow down but another opportunity to create, build and pursue new dreams.

She believes people should never assume that it is too late to begin something meaningful. At 62, she is still building, creating and opening another chapter in her remarkable career.
