“He Is Always Making Noise With Zero results” – Ossai Ovie tackles VeryDarkMan

A fresh disagreement has emerged between Delta State Governor’s Senior Special Assistant, Ossai Ovie, and social media activist VeryDarkMan, with Ossai questioning the activist’s repeated claims about bringing down the prices of products in Nigeria.

Ossai’s criticism followed VeryDarkMan’s latest statement concerning the expected price of the iPhone 18. According to VeryDarkMan, he would take action against vendors who attempt to sell the new smartphone at what he considers unreasonable prices.

But Ossai is not convinced that such promises will translate into anything concrete.

The Delta State government aide pointed to what he described as a pattern of big promises without corresponding results. He recalled that VeryDarkMan had previously spoken about crashing the prices of cars in Nigeria, yet, according to him, there has been no noticeable outcome from that declaration.

Ossai also referred to an earlier claim concerning gadgets, suggesting that the repeated announcements have raised questions about what has actually been achieved.

In his words:

"I am disappointed in Very Dark Man for thretening to crash the price of iPhone 18

Few months ago he said he will "crash the price of cars in Nigeria." Till today, nothing.

Today he said he will "crash the price of iPhone 18" if vendors sell it at exorbitant prices.

Before that, it was "gadgets in Nigeria."

Where are the results?

The boy is just a noise maker and an attention seeker. Big talk, zero action.

If you are still believing VeryDarkMan will crash anything, then I am disappointed in you".

Ossai’s main argument is that making public declarations about reducing prices is not enough. For him, the real test is whether those promises eventually lead to changes that Nigerians can actually see and benefit from.

His comments also bring attention to the wider frustration surrounding the rising cost of goods and gadgets in the country. With smartphones and other consumer products becoming increasingly expensive, claims about reducing prices are likely to attract attention, particularly when they come from outspoken public figures.

However, Ossai appears to be asking for more than statements. By bringing up VeryDarkMan’s previous comments about cars and gadgets, he is challenging the activist to point to specific results rather than making another promise.

For Ossai, the answer is clear: he believes VDM promises have not been matched by his action.
