Celebrity fashion designer Veekee James has addressed a comment from a social media user who questioned why her husband, Femi, is always by her side whenever she attends public events.
The conversation started after Veekee and her husband were spotted together at Peller's wedding, an appearance that caught the attention of one user who felt Femi accompanied her everywhere she went.
The user left a comment that read:
"Does this man have a life of his own? Must he follow you everywhere?? Did you see your friend's husband there? You don turn am to..."
Rather than ignore the remark, Veekee decided to respond in her usual playful but pointed style. Her reply was dripping with sarcasm as she defended the close bond she shares with her husband.
Reacting to the comment on her page, she wrote:
"Yes, my husband does not have a life of his own. It's me and him forever. When you marry your own, remove him from your life."
Although brief, her response left little room for doubt about how she feels. Instead of apologising for always being seen with her husband, Veekee made it clear that she enjoys having him around and sees nothing unusual about couples attending events together.
Over the years, the fashion entrepreneur has openly shared moments from her marriage with her followers. Whether she is travelling, working or attending social gatherings, Femi has frequently been by her side, something the couple have never tried to hide.
Their public appearances together have often drawn attention, but Veekee has consistently shown that she is comfortable with the dynamic of their relationship, regardless of what others may think.
