Kunle Omisore has opened up about the challenges of navigating life and his acting career, revealing that being without a wife sometimes leaves him feeling lonely.

The actor explained that he often tries to shield his children from his personal struggles. According to him, whenever he is dealing with emotional difficulties, he sometimes remains in his car after arriving home so he can regain his composure before entering the house.

Omisore said he does not want his children to notice when something is troubling him, even though keeping those emotions to himself can be difficult.

The actor also spoke about the realities of working in Nollywood, describing the industry as highly competitive.

He claimed that actors can invest significant time and effort into productions without receiving appropriate financial compensation.

For Omisore, securing prominent roles does not necessarily guarantee good earnings. He revealed that he has featured in lead roles in some productions where he was either not paid or received an amount he considered inadequate.

He further explained that some of the roles he gets require him to portray wealthy characters, which means he is sometimes expected to provide expensive traditional outfits for filming.

According to him, he may be required to bring several Agbada outfits to a location because of the type of characters he regularly plays.

Omisore claimed that providing five such outfits could cost him more than N2.5 million. However, despite the significant expense involved in preparing for the role, he said the eventual payment from a production could be as little as N500,000.

His comments highlight some of the financial pressures that actors can face behind the glamour associated with Nollywood.

While audiences often see actors appearing in expensive clothes and portraying wealthy characters on screen, the reality behind those appearances can involve substantial personal expenses.

Beyond the financial difficulties, Omisore's remarks also offer a glimpse into the personal side of his life. His admission that he sometimes feels lonely at home shows that the challenges he faces extend beyond his professional career.

The actor's experience reflects the contrast between the image presented on screen and the realities performers may encounter away from the cameras.

For Omisore, pursuing acting has involved both professional ambition and personal sacrifices, including taking on costly responsibilities simply to meet the demands of certain roles.
