Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has called out some of the country’s biggest music stars over what he described as their failure to support dancer and entertainer Poco Lee amid his ongoing legal troubles in the United Kingdom.
Portable expressed his frustration in a video circulating online, where he questioned the absence of artistes he said had previously shared close relationships and memorable moments with Poco Lee.
The Zazuu crooner specifically mentioned Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy and Olamide while asking why they had allegedly not come forward to assist the dancer during his current difficulties.
Portable argued that Poco Lee had spent considerable time around some of Nigeria’s biggest entertainers when his career was progressing, suggesting that those relationships should extend beyond periods of celebration and success.
“Poco dey stay with Una, dey roll with Una, and Una no fit bail him. Where is Burna Boy, Wizkid, Olamide or Davido?” Portable said.
The singer described the situation as disappointing and questioned the loyalty of people who had previously been close to Poco Lee.
According to Portable, it was important for people who had benefited from or enjoyed Poco Lee’s company during better times to show concern when he was facing a difficult period.
His comments have since generated reactions online, with the situation drawing attention to the relationships between Nigerian entertainers and the responsibilities that may come with friendships within the entertainment industry.
Poco Lee, whose real name is Iweh Pascal Odinaka, has built a reputation as one of Nigeria’s prominent dancers and entertainers. He has worked with several music stars and appeared in music videos and performances alongside leading Nigerian artistes.
His energetic dance style and connections within the music industry have also helped him establish a career beyond dancing, including appearances in music projects and entertainment events.
However, his career has recently been overshadowed by legal proceedings in the United Kingdom.
Poco Lee was reportedly arrested in August and is facing allegations including sexual assault, attempted rape and assault by penetration.
He is reportedly being held on remand in the UK while the legal process continues.
The entertainer is scheduled to appear before Snaresbrook Crown Court in London on September 15, 2026, at 10 a.m.
The allegations against Poco Lee remain allegations and have not been established as facts by a court. He has not been convicted of the offences.
Portable’s comments therefore come at a sensitive time as the legal proceedings continue and questions surrounding Poco Lee’s situation remain before the British courts.
The singer’s decision to publicly mention Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy and Olamide has also brought renewed attention to the role of support systems within Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
Portable’s argument appears to centre on the belief that genuine relationships should not exist only during successful moments. By questioning the absence of some of Poco Lee’s famous associates, he is calling for greater solidarity during a period of uncertainty.
The controversy also highlights how quickly developments involving Nigerian entertainers can generate public debate, particularly when other celebrities are directly mentioned.

Portable, meanwhile, has made his position clear, asking why some of the artistes who were previously seen alongside Poco Lee have not publicly demonstrated support during his current legal challenge.
