"End Time Pastor" - Buchi Blasts Pastor Tobi Over Comments On Hell-fire Statement

Solomon Buchi has taken issue with comments made by Pastor Tobi Adegboyega about hell, saying he finds it difficult to understand why a pastor would speak about the subject in such a casual way.

The issue came up after Adegboyega, during a conversation with Davrel, questioned why people should spend their lives being afraid of hell. He encouraged people to put more attention on building their lives, making money and enjoying what life has to offer.

That position did not sit well with Buchi.

For Buchi, talking about having a good life and making money is not the problem. His concern is what happens when conversations about success and enjoyment leave God and Christian values out of the picture.

He said people should not be forced to serve God simply because they are scared of hell. At the same time, he does not believe the existence of hell should be dismissed.

Buchi said he believes hell is real because it is mentioned in Scripture. He also took issue with the argument that hell cannot be real because nobody has died, gone there and returned to tell others about it.

He questioned the logic behind such an argument, especially coming from someone who is expected to teach people about Christianity.

Buchi also said he was disappointed that someone carrying the title of pastor would make such comments. He described Adegboyega as a “false prophet” and accused him of giving people a message that focuses heavily on money and enjoyment without enough attention to God.

In his view, Christians can work hard, make money and build successful lives, but those things should not replace their relationship with God or the need to live according to their faith.

Reacting to Adegboyega, Buchi said:

"That is coming from a supposed pastor? Well to me, that's my favorite end time pastor.

"Hello is real

This is the man that some of you entrusted your lives into his hand. He doesn't even understand spiritual but telling people to make money and and when they die they figure it out. He doesn't acknowledge the existence of Jesus... He sounds so casual than unbelievable. A pastor discrediting hell and the existence of Jesus."

Buchi's comments were largely centred on what he sees as the responsibility that comes with being a pastor. While he agrees that people should build better lives for themselves, he believes that message should still come with a clear focus on God, righteousness and obedience.

For him, the conversation is not simply about whether people should be afraid of hell. It is also about what Christians are being taught to value while they are still alive.
