Nigerian music executive Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has revealed that discovering Afrobeats singer Ayra Starr also had a significant impact on his own life.
The Mavin Records boss made the revelation while responding to an X user who shared an old photograph of Ayra Starr and praised him for discovering and supporting the singer at the beginning of her career.
The social media user, @_Fabianszn, wrote: “Don Jazzy really saved Ayra Starr if not she for still dey teach kindergarten children.”
Don Jazzy responded by explaining that the relationship between him and Ayra Starr has been mutually beneficial, adding that the singer has also changed his life since joining his record label.
