Singer Alhaji Alao Malaika has opened up about the reason he decided to adjust his schedule in order to honour Peller and Jarvis on their wedding day, revealing that his affection for the couple made the decision an easy one despite an existing commitment.

The respected Fuji musician explained that the turning point came after Tunde Perry reached out to him two days before the planned ceremony. According to him, he had already accepted a performance booking for the same day, a commitment he would normally not set aside. However, he said the relationship he shares with Peller and Jarvis meant he could not treat the occasion like any other invitation.

For Alao Malaika, the wedding is more than just another event on his calendar. He described the couple as people who are very dear to him, adding that he sees them as his own children. Thou l already had show fix for that day but at same time l must honour Peller and Jarvis because they are like my children.

l love them so much and l pray this their wedding will last forever."
