Africa Magic has set Monday, 31 August as the premiere date for Hello Future Me, the sequel to its 2025 romantic drama, Dear Future Me. The 26-episode series will debut on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv Channel 151 and GOtv Channel 8) at 9 pm WAT, with new episodes airing weekdays.
In Dear Future Me, viewers watched Boma (Femi Adekanye) and Dayo (Ruby Agwu) heal past betrayals to rebuild their relationship, while their children, Adele (Ejiroghene Asagba) and Banky (Johnson Ibeh), carried the emotional weight of their parents' mistakes. Hello Future Me continues the story, shifting the focus from repairing the past to surviving the reality of an unplanned future.
The sequel picks up as Adele's plans to study abroad are cut short by financial hardship, forcing her back to Nigeria and into her father's newly blended household. Living with her stepmother Dayo and former love interest-turned-stepbrother Banky proves anything but straightforward, as old feelings, family tensions and new realities collide.
While Adele attempts to reinvent herself through social media, the rest of the family faces challenges of their own. Banky struggles to redefine himself after a career-ending injury, Boma wrestles with mounting financial pressure, and Dayo is forced to confront a devastating fertility diagnosis.

Blending romance, humor and family drama, Hello Future Me explores identity, resilience, ambition and second chances through characters whose hopes are tested by unexpected realities. The series examines what happens when life refuses to follow the plan, reminding viewers that the future we need is not always the one we envisioned.
In a joint statement, Executive Producers Adeniyi Joseph Omobulejo and Allen Onyige said: "Hello Future Me explores what happens when the version of the future you imagined presents challenges you didn’t bargain for. The characters are older, life is more complicated, and they're forced to confront dreams that haven't gone according to plan. At its heart, it’s still a story about love and sacrifice, but also about life’s uncertainties, resilience and finding hope when the future looks different from what you imagined."
The 26-episode romantic drama stars Ruby Agwu, Femi Adekanye, Johnson Ibeh, Ejiroghene Asagba and Patience Ene Ujah.
Hello Future Me premieres Monday, 31 August 2026, with new episodes airing Monday through Friday at 9 p.m. WAT on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv Channel 151 and GOtv Channel 8), and on DStv Stream and GOtv Stream.
