The former Big Brother Naija housemate has revealed that she is considering freezing her eggs, saying she wants to make informed decisions about her reproductive health instead of waiting until it is too late. While she has not decided to undergo the procedure just yet, she said it is something she hopes to do in the future after learning more about the process.
Speaking in a recent vlog, The 32 years old explained that her interest in egg freezing prompted her to seek professional medical advice before making any commitments. Rather than relying on assumptions or information from social media, she chose to meet with her gynecologist to better understand what the procedure entails and what to expect.
Sharing the reason behind her decision, she said:
“I want to freeze my eggs because I would rather have options than regrets in the future. I realised that I needed more information about the process so I booked an appointment with my gynecologist at one wellness centre.
I am not freezing my eggs now but I will maybe next year or in two years,” she disclosed.
Her comments reflect a growing willingness among some women to openly discuss fertility planning and the different options available to them. Although egg freezing has become more widely known in recent years, many people still choose to first seek medical guidance before deciding whether it is the right option for them.
For Tolanibaj, the consultation was part of that learning process. She made it clear that she is not rushing into the procedure, stressing that gathering the right information comes first. While she sees egg freezing as a possibility, she also emphasized that it is not an immediate plan, noting that she may decide to go ahead with it next year or within the next two years.
