Award-winning actress Teniola Aladese delivers a gripping performance in the newly released teaser for the upcoming short film We Must Begin Again, Together, a psychological drama that explores betrayal, family conflict, and the emotional cost of painful secrets.
The film tells the story of a woman whose seemingly stable life is shattered after she uncovers an affair involving her husband and someone she never imagined would betray her her own sister.
Faced with heartbreak and overwhelming emotional turmoil, she must decide whether to remain silent in order to preserve family honour or confront the truth and risk losing everything.
Set in a conservative community, the story examines how cultural expectations, loyalty, and personal identity collide when trust is broken within the family. Rather than relying on action or spectacle, the film focuses on raw emotions, difficult choices, and the psychological impact of betrayal.
Directed and written by Adé Sultan Sangodoyin, the project was filmed in Ibadan, with producer Melissa Adeyemo leading the production.
