Nollywood icon Richard Mofe-Damijo, popularly known as RMD, has opened up about his journey through life, expressing deep gratitude as he celebrates reaching the age of 65.

The veteran actor described his current stage of life as a blessing, saying he feels fortunate to still be alive and active.

According to him, reaching this milestone means a lot because members of his family did not live to see the same age.

Speaking during an appearance on The Moraya Show, RMD reflected on his experiences and explained that his outlook on life is built around appreciation.

He noted that he feels privileged to be alive at a time when opportunities have expanded, especially with more people embracing entrepreneurship and creating independent careers.

The respected actor also discussed how he has maintained his youthful appearance and energetic personality despite being in his sixties. He revealed that healthy habits, including proper nutrition and regular exercise, have played an important role in his lifestyle.

Beyond physical wellness, RMD highlighted the importance of mindset in staying youthful. He explained that he believes ageing should not limit a person's enthusiasm, confidence, or willingness to enjoy life.

According to him, people should continue to embrace activities and styles that make them feel vibrant rather than allowing age to define them.

The actor also spoke about his fashion choices, explaining that he has intentionally maintained a classy and modern style instead of adopting a look that reflects only his age. For him, personal presentation remains an important part of confidence and self-expression.

RMD jokingly shared that even his grown children still notice his fashion sense, revealing that his eldest child, who is already in his forties, still reacts to the way he dresses.

However, the actor made it clear that he has no plans to change his approach to style or stop taking care of himself.

Over the years, RMD has remained one of Nollywood’s most respected figures, building a career that spans acting, entertainment, and public service. His longevity in the industry has made him an inspiration to many younger entertainers.

His latest comments highlight a message of gratitude, discipline, and positive thinking. Rather than seeing age as a limitation, RMD believes life should continue to be enjoyed with purpose and confidence.

At 65, the actor continues to represent excellence and resilience, proving that passion, healthy choices, and the right mindset can help people remain active and fulfilled at every stage of life.
