Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has shared fresh details about his family’s future, revealing that he plans to relocate his twins from the United States to Nigeria once the construction of his new home is completed.
The award-winning singer made the revelation during a recent livestream with content creator Davrel, where he spoke about his children, family life and his vision for raising them.
According to Davido, he wants his twins to eventually grow up in Nigeria, surrounded by family and enjoying the lifestyle he believes they deserve.
“My twins will come to Nigeria once my house is done to come and live like a King and Queen that they are,” the singer said.
His comments have generated excitement among fans, many of whom have followed the couple’s journey since the birth of their twins.
Plans For A New Family Home
Davido explained that the relocation would only happen after work on his new residence in Nigeria is completed.
Although he did not disclose the exact location or timeline for the project, he suggested that the property is being designed to provide a comfortable environment for his growing family.
The singer’s remarks indicate that the house is expected to become the family’s primary residence whenever they spend time in Nigeria.
Fans have since praised the artiste for expressing his desire to have his children maintain strong ties with their Nigerian roots despite being born and raised abroad.
New Mansion In Atlanta
In addition to discussing his plans for Nigeria, Davido revealed that he and his wife, Chioma, have recently purchased another luxury property in the United States.
The singer disclosed that the couple acquired a new mansion in Atlanta, Georgia, adding that they were preparing to move into the residence.
“My wife and I just bought a new mansion in Atlanta, and we are moving in next week,” he said.
The announcement adds to Davido’s growing list of real estate investments, further reflecting the success of his music career and business ventures.
Over the years, the Afrobeats star has frequently spoken about investing in properties both within Nigeria and abroad as part of securing his family’s future.
Looking Back At His Childhood
During the livestream, Davido also reflected on his upbringing, revealing that his father ensured the family travelled exclusively by private jet.
The singer said flying on commercial airlines was never part of his childhood experience because his father always prioritised private travel.
“My dad has never allowed us to fly commercial before; it’s either private jet or nothing. That’s why we are the Adelekes,” he said.
Davido’s father, billionaire businessman Adedeji Adeleke, is widely recognised as one of Nigeria’s wealthiest entrepreneurs, with investments spanning education, power generation and other sectors.
The singer has often acknowledged his privileged upbringing while emphasising that he still worked hard to establish himself independently in the music industry.
Family Continues To Take Centre Stage
In recent months, Davido has increasingly shared aspects of his private life with fans, particularly his marriage to Chioma and their growing family.
The couple has continued to receive public support following the birth of their twins, with many fans celebrating their journey together.
His latest comments suggest that family remains one of his biggest priorities despite his demanding international music career.
As one of Africa’s biggest music exports, Davido continues to balance sold-out concerts, global collaborations and business investments while planning for the future of his wife and children.
The singer’s latest revelations have once again highlighted his commitment to creating a stable home for his family, both in the United States and Nigeria.
With a new mansion in Atlanta already secured and plans underway for an expansive residence in Nigeria, fans will be watching closely as Davido prepares for the next chapter of family life while continuing to expand his influence on the global music scene.
