Afrobeats superstar Tiwa Savage has revealed that she is currently building a new house, adding another milestone to her growing list of personal achievements and luxury investments.
The award-winning singer made the disclosure during a recent interview with media personality Korty, where she opened up about her latest property project and shared a glimpse into her evolving lifestyle.
According to her, the new house has already been acquired but will not be completed until next year. She explained that while she awaits its completion, she is currently staying in a location that gives her a strong sense of safety and importance.
“I bought a house somewhere, but it’s not ready till next year,” she said during the interview.
She further noted that her present environment makes her feel secure, adding humorously that her neighbourhood carries an added layer of prestige.
“I feel safe and important in my current location because the president’s house is in front,” she added.
The comment quickly sparked reactions from fans, with many interpreting it as a light-hearted reflection of her elite living standard and the level she has attained in her career.
Over the years, Tiwa Savage has consistently made headlines not just for her music, but also for her impressive real estate investments and lifestyle choices.
In 2023, she reportedly ended the year by acquiring a luxury home in London, United Kingdom. The property, which was widely shared on social media, featured high-end interior design including a private gym, a cinema room, and elegantly furnished living spaces.
While the singer did not publicly confirm the exact cost of the property, popular blogger Tunde Ednut, a close associate of the singer, claimed that the house was valued at about N1.7 billion.
Before that, in 2024, Tiwa also gave fans a glimpse of a dream penthouse under construction in Ikoyi, Lagos State. The singer visited the site and shared clips online, showing her excitement about the ongoing development of the luxury residence.
Her consistent investments in property have often been viewed as part of her long-term financial planning and lifestyle upgrade, reflecting her success as one of Africa’s most influential music exports.
Beyond real estate, Tiwa Savage has remained a dominant force in the Afrobeats industry. She is widely regarded as one of the biggest female artists on the continent, with a career that has spanned over a decade and produced multiple hit songs, international collaborations, and award-winning performances.
In 2024, she sparked discussions after hinting that she might be considering stepping back from music. She revealed in an interview that she was working on what could possibly be her final studio album, explaining that she was feeling exhausted after years in the industry.
Despite such remarks, the singer has continued to remain active and relevant, maintaining her position as one of the leading voices in African music.
Tiwa Savage also made headlines after boldly describing herself as part of the industry’s “Big 3,” a statement that generated debate among fans and industry observers. While critics challenged the claim, she defended her position, insisting that her talent and impact speak for themselves when compared “mic for mic.”
In addition to her musical achievements, Tiwa Savage has also made history on the global stage. She became the first African artist to perform at the coronation ceremony of King Charles III, a moment that further cemented her status as an international cultural ambassador for Nigerian music.
She has also addressed criticisms about her support for female artists in the industry, questioning claims that she does not collaborate enough with women, while highlighting her track record of past partnerships.
As she embarks on her new property project, fans continue to celebrate her journey from music stardom to becoming one of Africa’s most successful entertainment figures with investments that reflect her enduring influence and financial growth.
