Oladimeji Hammed, the TikTok content creator known as Immunizer, has been brought before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court in Lagos over allegations of online harassment against Omowunmi Cynthia, widow of late singer Mohbad.
The 27-year-old was arraigned by the Lagos State Police Command on six charges bordering on alleged cyberstalking, bullying, and the circulation of harmful and offensive content directed at the 26-year-old widow.
According to the prosecution, Hammed allegedly posted several messages and materials targeting Omowunmi between February 8 and March 14.
Among the allegations, prosecutors claimed he shared a post suggesting Omowunmi intended to leave Nigeria before justice was achieved in connection with her husband’s death and attached her passport photograph to the publication.
He was also accused of posting content on February 11 implying she failed to deny allegations of infidelity during court proceedings.
Another allegation stated that on February 19, Hammed circulated claims that private material belonging to Omowunmi had surfaced online.
The prosecution further alleged that on March 14, the TikTok personality uploaded a video containing insulting remarks and accusations linking her to a concealed agenda concerning the affairs of her late husband.
The final count accused him of sharing nude images and other materials intended to ridicule, intimidate, and emotionally distress her.
Prosecutors argued that the alleged online campaign subjected Omowunmi to public embarrassment, hate messages, trolling, and threats.
They also claimed the online attacks contributed to an incident on March 15 during which she was confronted in public and nearly attacked by individuals.
Hammed denied all charges brought against him.
The court granted him bail under strict conditions, requiring two sureties to each present evidence of a bank balance of not less than N700,000.
The magistrate also directed that one surety must be a state civil servant while the second must be a blood relative of the defendant. Both sureties are expected to provide proof of current tax compliance.
