Controversial Nigerian singer, Speed Darlington, has stirred fresh debate across social media platforms following comments he made during a recent live session, where he attempted to explain what he believes influences the gender of a woman’s first child.

During the livestream, the singer made sweeping claims about childbirth patterns, suggesting that women who have never experienced childbirth or had an abortion before are more likely to give birth to a baby girl as their first child.

According to him, there appears to be a recurring pattern in families where the first-born child is often female, especially among women with no prior pregnancy history. He presented his view as a general observation drawn from what he claims to have noticed in different households.

Speaking during the session, Speed Darlington said:

“For a woman that has never given birth or had an ab%rtion before, her first child is likely to be a girl. Even in people’s family, the oldest is a girl.”

He further expanded on his assertion by insisting that, in most cases, female children tend to come first in childbirth experiences. He emphasized what he believes is a strong statistical tendency, although he did not provide any scientific evidence or research to support his statement.

“Most females produce females as their first born. 80% of the time it’s always a girl coming first,” he added.

The singer went on to conclude his remarks by reinforcing his belief that a woman’s reproductive history could influence the gender of her first child, especially in cases where there has been no previous childbirth or pregnancy termination.

“Speed Darlington concluded by insisting that unless a woman has previously given birth or had an ab%rtion, her first child is most likely to be female,” he said during the live interaction.

His comments have since generated mixed reactions online, with many social media users debating the validity of his claims. While some viewers treated the statement as mere personal opinion or entertainment, others questioned the scientific accuracy behind such assertions, pointing out that child gender is determined biologically and not influenced by prior pregnancy history.

As with many of his past remarks, Speed Darlington’s latest comments have continued to fuel conversations online, adding to his reputation for making unconventional and often controversial statements during public discussions.
