Nigerian filmmaker Kemi Adetiba has praised the wave of talent that turned out for the open auditions of her upcoming project The Stool, describing the experience as both inspiring and deeply humbling.
The audition process, which was conducted online and open to actors across different levels, drew widespread participation from aspiring performers, skit makers, and even established names within the industry.
Taking to her social media platform shortly after the submission window closed, Adetiba expressed gratitude to everyone who took the bold step to audition.

Drawing from her past projects like King of Boys, she highlighted how even minor roles can become unforgettable when handled with confidence and originality.
The audition, which opened earlier in April and closed mid-month, attracted entries from a diverse range of participants. Among them was veteran actress Shan George, alongside several up-and-coming actors who showcased their performances across social media platforms.
