“People Around You Want Your Money, Not You” – Austine Emmanuel Warns Seyi Tinubu

Nigerian actor Austine Emmanuel has stirred reactions online after delivering a blunt message to Seyi Tinubu, warning him about the intentions of those within his circle and questioning his current focus on politics.

In a strongly worded statement, Emmanuel suggested that Seyi may be surrounded by individuals who are more interested in personal gain than genuine loyalty. 

According to the actor, the support system around the young Tinubu may not be as sincere as it appears, claiming that many people are drawn to him because of wealth and influence rather than true affection or belief in his vision.

Emmanuel did not hold back as he cautioned Seyi to be more mindful of the company he keeps. He argued that public figures, especially those connected to political power, often attract opportunists who disguise their intentions.

 The actor emphasized that what may seem like admiration or loyalty could, in reality, be driven by financial benefits and access to privilege.

The criticism extended beyond Seyi’s inner circle, as Emmanuel also took aim at some well-known Nigerian socialites, including Obi Cubana and Cubana Chief Priest.

 He accused them of influencing Seyi in ways that may not necessarily align with the interests of the general public. According to him, such associations may create a false sense of support that may not translate into real backing when it truly matters.

In his remarks, Emmanuel also touched on the political landscape, particularly referencing the administration of Bola Tinubu. 

He argued that if the president’s performance had significantly impacted the lives of ordinary Nigerians, there would be no need for efforts to secure loyalty or validation from influential figures or the public.

The actor painted a grim picture of the current situation in the country, highlighting challenges such as economic hardship, insecurity, and the rising cost of living. 

He stressed that many Nigerians are struggling daily, and this reality should be the primary concern for anyone seeking public support or political continuity.

Emmanuel concluded his message with a sobering reflection, stating that leadership should ultimately be judged by tangible improvements in the lives of citizens. 

He suggested that if meaningful progress had been made over the past few years, public opinion would naturally reflect satisfaction, rather than skepticism or criticism.
