Nigerian controversial cleric Chukwuemeka Odumeje, widely known as Prophet Odumeje, has stirred reactions after making strong remarks about conflict and opposition while addressing members of his church.

The outspoken preacher made the comments during a sermon to his congregation, where he spoke about his attitude toward challenges and confrontation. His statement came at a time when global attention has been focused on rising tensions between countries such as Iran and the United States.

Speaking passionately during the service, Odumeje said he does not shy away from confrontation, describing himself as someone who is always prepared to face battles.

According to the cleric, opposition and criticism have played an important role in shaping his personality and public image over the years. He suggested that the challenges he has encountered have strengthened him rather than discouraged him.

Odumeje also claimed that his reputation has made him widely feared by other religious figures and traditional practitioners.

“All the pastors in the world fear me. All the native doctors fear me,” he said while speaking to the congregation.

The cleric further emphasised that he does not live in fear of what the future might bring, insisting that he remains ready to face any confrontation that comes his way.

“I don’t fear tomorrow. I fear nothing that comes tomorrow. I am ready for battles and I’m ready for anyone,” he declared.

During the sermon, the preacher also spoke about how rivalry and criticism have influenced his journey. Rather than avoiding opposition, he said he welcomes it because it has helped shape who he is.

“One thing is sure about me — my battle never stops. I’m very dangerous; I like war. I like enemies. The enemies make me who I am,” he added.

Odumeje also hinted that he believes his time on earth may be limited, explaining that he intends to resolve all his struggles and confrontations before his life journey ends.

“I don’t have much time to stay here on earth, but before I leave, I will finish all my battles,” he said.

The cleric, who is known for his dramatic preaching style and controversial statements, has built a reputation for making bold declarations that often attract widespread attention on social media and within religious circles.

Over the years, Odumeje has remained one of Nigeria’s most talked-about pastors, frequently trending online for his unconventional approach to ministry, public comments, and high-energy church services.

His latest remarks have once again sparked conversations among followers and observers, with many interpreting the statement as a reflection of his confrontational preaching style and the persona he has built around his ministry.

While some supporters view his comments as motivational rhetoric aimed at encouraging resilience in the face of challenges, critics argue that such statements contribute to the controversies that often surround the cleric.

Despite the mixed reactions that usually follow his public remarks, Odumeje continues to command a strong following, particularly among congregants who are drawn to his bold personality and unconventional messages.

His latest declaration reinforces the image he has cultivated over the years — that of a preacher who thrives in the face of opposition and remains unapologetic about his approach to ministry.
