The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has confirmed that its online registration portal will be available to prospective corps members (PCMs) from March 12 to March 18, 2026.
The announcement was shared via a flyer on the NYSC’s official social media channels on Friday, providing details for graduates who intend to participate in the 2026 service year.
According to the notice, only graduates whose names appear on the approved Senate or Academic Board lists uploaded by their respective institutions are eligible to register.
“Attention, Prospective Corps Members (PCMs), I am happy to inform you that the NYSC portal will be opened for online registration from 12th to 18th March, 2026,” the flyer stated.
It further added, “PCMs who have Senate/Academic Board approved results and whose details have been uploaded on the NYSC portal by their respective institutions are eligible to register.”
The NYSC urged applicants to visit its official website and social media pages for comprehensive guidelines and instructions on the registration process.
The scheme emphasized the importance of verifying all personal information before starting the registration. Graduates must ensure that the names on their National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) records match the details on the Senate-approved list and the NYSC portal.
Applicants are also advised to confirm that their names are consistent with their certificates or statements of results. Additionally, graduates should make use of the Senate list verification portal to ensure all data is accurate prior to registration.
This announcement comes amid ongoing reforms in the education sector, aimed at enhancing the accuracy and integrity of academic records across Nigerian institutions.
Prospective corps members are encouraged to complete their registration early within the portal window to avoid technical delays and ensure successful enrollment for the 2026 service year.
