Nigerian content creator King Micthy has issued a deeply emotional appeal after weeks of intense online controversy and clashes with rival social media figure VeryDarkMan.

In a video message shared on social platforms, she warned of the toll the backlash has taken on her mental health:

“If I die today, my mum will follow in less than two months. I’m the only child she has. That’s why I brought her close to me.”

The drama has included accusations and feuds over charity work, especially surrounding a high‑profile dispute with activist VeryDarkMan about her handling of donations and a school renovation project  a clash that spilled into fierce online battles and account suspensions.
She also signalled how overwhelming the pressure has become:

“All the things you people are doing to me are getting to me. Right now, I feel like I should just get into the car and drink again.”

The situation sparked widespread rumours that she had died during TikTok livestreams where she was seen consuming harmful substances  claims that were firmly denied by Prime Care Hospital, which stated she was never admitted or treated there and vowed to pursue legal action against misinformation spreaders.

Authorities have also indicated they may investigate disturbing videos showing her apparent self‑harm attempts amid the feud.

The controversy widened after Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, publicly denied allegations linking himself to the dispute and clarified his limited interactions with Micthy, countering claims that he was involved behind the scenes.

Micthy’s plea and the surrounding chaos have reignited debates on social media about cyberbullying, mental well‑being, misinformation, and the real‑world consequences of online feuds.
