Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has fired back at influencer Mitchy following claims about why she blocked her on social media.
Earlier reports by nollywood times revealed that Sarah recounted how Mitchy allegedly cut ties with her shortly after Seyi Tinubu supported her NGO initiative. The actress also claimed she felt slighted when they crossed paths at the premiere of a film by Toyin Abraham, saying she was embarrassed but chose to remain composed and make excuses for Mitchy’s conduct.
In response, Mitchy dismissed the controversy, expressing frustration that Sarah was turning the issue into a public spectacle. She clarified that her decision to block the actress stemmed from her closeness to someone she doesn’t get along with, insisting it had nothing to do with financial assistance or influence.
According to Mitchy, the move was purely about safeguarding her peace and self-worth.
However, Sarah has now challenged that explanation.
She questioned why Mitchy only chose to unfollow her after Tinubu empowered her charity project, pointing out that her friendship with Jojo whom Mitchy reportedly has issues with had existed long before the fallout.
The actress also accused Mitchy of hypocrisy, alleging that she later unblocked her just to engage with negative comments aimed at her.
Emphasizing that her humanitarian journey began years ago, Sarah maintained that her mission has always been rooted in faith and love for humanity.
