Nollywood actor uzor arukwe has addressed circulating rumours that suggest he had a romantic relationship with actress bamike olawunmi-adenibuyan, describing the claims as completely false.
In a recent interview with BBC Igbo, Arukwe recounted that he first met Bambam on the set of their hit film love in other words. He emphasized that their interaction on set was strictly professional and guided by mutual respect.
“before i touched her, i asked her if there was any way i could touch her that her husband wouldn’t like or that might cause problems at home. that movie was the first time i had ever met her. but people started saying we slept together and were dating, which was completely false.”
The actor explained that in the film industry, it is common to have intimate or close scenes with colleagues.
However, he said he always ensures that boundaries are clearly established, especially when working with married co-stars, to prevent misunderstandings or personal issues.
Arukwe further stressed that professionalism is a priority for him, and that he never wants his actions on set to cause problems in the personal lives of his colleagues.
