Veteran Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Face, has spoken candidly about the regrets he carries from both his professional journey and personal life, admitting that he would make different choices if given another chance.
The award-winning artiste made the revelation in a teaser from an upcoming episode of the Mic On podcast, where he reflected on his past actions and acknowledged that experience has reshaped his outlook on life.
According to the music legend, maturity has made him more introspective, causing him to re-evaluate many of the decisions he took during the peak of his career and personal struggles.
“There are so many things I wish I could rewind and do better. As a human being, there are times when you are overwhelmed or don’t make the best decisions. My thick-skin is weaker now,” he said.
2Face explained that with age and life experience, he has become more emotionally aware, recognising how some of his previous choices may have affected both himself and others around him. He admitted that fame, pressure, and expectations often influenced his actions, sometimes leading to moments he now wishes he had handled differently.
The African Queen crooner also addressed the controversial incident involving his new wife, Natasha Osawaru, which reportedly resulted in his arrest in London in October 2025. The episode had sparked widespread debate across social media platforms, with fans and critics expressing mixed reactions.
While speaking on the matter, 2Face took responsibility for the altercation, admitting that he allowed his emotions to get the better of him on that occasion.
“I was angry that day. It was an unfortunate incident,” the singer said.
