Nollywood veteran Charles Inojie has been left stunned and deeply emotional after receiving rare and glowing praise from his colleague, Shaffy Bello.
In a recent interview, the celebrated actress and screen goddess was asked to name her favourite action comedy actors, and without hesitation, she mentioned Charles Inojie alongside the late comic legend Sam Loco Efe as her top choices from Nollywood. She also named Samuel L. Jackson as her favourite Hollywood actor.
Speaking passionately, Shaffy Bello expressed how much Sam Loco meant to her, revealing that if there were any possibility of bringing back a departed actor, she would choose him without blinking.
“Please bring me Sam Loco. I will bring his spirit back if I could bring anybody back”.
Turning her attention to Charles Inojie, Shaffy Bello showered him with high praise, stating that his talent is natural and cannot be manufactured or taught. According to her, what sets him apart is his impeccable comic timing.
“His timing. People don’t get that, you can’t teach it, or could learn it. It is just innate”.
The commendation left Charles Inojie visibly moved. Taking to his Instagram page, the actor described himself as awestruck and dumbfounded, noting that such validation coming from a globally celebrated professional like Shaffy Bello is priceless.
He described the recognition as the best New Year’s gift he has received so far and vowed never to take it lightly.
