Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has opened up about his personal philosophy and life goals, making it clear that he has no interest in competing with or envying anyone in the movie industry or beyond.
Taking to Instagram, the father of two described a purpose-driven life as the ultimate flex, stressing that his focus is firmly on self-growth rather than rivalry.
According to Ninalowo, he neither compares himself with others nor desires what belongs to anyone else, as his journey is entirely his own.
“A purpose-driven life is such a FLEX!” the actor wrote. “I compete with no one, I envy no one, and do not want what others want, but what I alone want. Maybe similar, but never the same. You cannot wake up where I slept. My only goal is to outdo my past, and not you.”
The actor’s message struck a chord with many fans and colleagues, who praised him for promoting self-awareness, gratitude, and inner fulfillment in an industry often associated with intense competition and comparison.
Ninalowo, popularly known as Nino B, has built a reputation not just for his commanding screen presence but also for his reflective outlook on life and success.
Over the years, he has consistently shared messages centered on growth, discipline, and gratitude, encouraging others to focus on their own paths rather than external validation.
Last year, the actor celebrated a personal milestone on Instagram after recording massive engagement on his page in less than 24 hours, something he described as unprecedented in his career. Proudly calling himself a “star man,” he expressed gratitude for being blessed with what he described as a star daughter and a star son.
Beyond personal achievements, Ninalowo has also been vocal about challenges he has faced as a public figure. He previously reacted to a shocking case where an impersonator used his name and image to defraud a woman of ₦33 million.
Expressing disbelief, the actor noted that he had never earned such an amount from a single movie role, questioning how the impersonator managed to deceive the victim.
In March, he further lamented the growing number of fake TikTok accounts impersonating him. The actor, who is not active on the platform, questioned how he could even create a genuine account when his name had already been taken by multiple impersonators.
In another revealing moment, Ninalowo once described his biggest addiction as counting his blessings. Referring to himself as “God’s own,” he said he constantly finds new reasons to be grateful, attributing his progress to grace rather than struggle.
He also admitted that while some people may perceive him as selfish, he sees himself differently. According to the actor, he realized early on that he could not always expect to be a priority in other people’s lives, so he chose to make himself a priority instead.
Through his words and actions, Bolanle Ninalowo continues to champion self-worth, purpose, and personal growth, reminding fans that true success lies in becoming better than who you were yesterday not in competing with others.
