Award-winning Nigerian singer, Omawumi Megbele, is basking in joy as she celebrates a double milestone in her personal life.
The soulful vocalist recently marked her husband Tosin Yussuf’s birthday alongside their 11th wedding anniversary, making the occasion a memorable one for the couple.
The singer took to her Instagram page to share the good news with fans and followers. She posted a stunning black-and-white photo of herself and her husband, accompanied by a heartfelt message that captured the depth of their love and friendship. In the post, Omawumi affectionately described her husband as her “best boy” and praised him for being a solid partner through the years.
Reflecting on their journey together, the mother of two expressed gratitude to God for sustaining their marriage. She described the past 11 years as a testimony of divine goodness and faithfulness.
According to her, she could not have asked for a better partner, noting that her husband consistently makes her feel loved, valued, and appreciated.
Omawumi further revealed that Tosin Yussuf remains her best friend and confidant. She celebrated the bond they share, cheering to many more years filled with love, positive energy, laughter, and what she humorously referred to as her “wahala.”

This celebration comes a year after the couple marked their 10th wedding anniversary in grand style. At the time, Omawumi shared beautiful family videos featuring her husband and their two children.

On Father’s Day, the singer had also publicly praised her husband, likening him to the popular sports brand Nike, stating that he “just does his thing” and handles responsibilities with grace as he learns and grows.
Omawumi has always been open about her personal choices. In a previous Instagram post, she disclosed that she is done having children, revealing that she had long “hung the coat of childbearing.”
The couple traditionally tied the knot in 2019 in Warri, Delta State, and share two children a son and a daughter. Omawumi has also spoken candidly in interviews about being a baby mama for four years before marriage, stating that it was her choice and that she enjoyed that phase of her life before her husband eventually proposed.
