Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has escalated her ongoing controversy with Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministries, by alleging that several of her colleagues were romantically involved with the cleric. The actress has now threatened to publicly name those she claims had intimate relationships with him if they do not come forward on their own.
Ogala made the fresh accusations in a video shared on her Instagram page, where she openly challenged the women she accused to admit their alleged involvement with the pastor. According to her, silence would no longer be tolerated, as she claims to possess evidence that could implicate them.
“So this is time for those my colleagues, the ones that slept with Chris, this is the time for you to help yourselves by coming out to expose and confess because if you do not, I would be the one to expose you people. I know your names,” Ogala said.
She went further to single out some individuals by vague descriptions, insisting that she had access to personal messages that allegedly confirmed her claims.
“That one’s child that came out insult me the other time, as I gave her her own dose, she did not talk again, you are number one. Then the elderly woman who sings and is short, she is number two. I have all your chats, Chris sent them to me,” she added.
Ogala also warned others she claimed were involved not to pretend innocence, stressing that she was prepared to reveal everything if pushed further.
“You all should come out, you that resides at Festac, you too should come out. Everybody is talking like I am the worst sinner, I know all of you that slept with my ex-boyfriend and I would mention your names one after the other,” she said.
“He told me everything, he mentioned all your names, I have all your chats. Respect yourselves now by coming out and confessing all you did with him.”
The latest outburst is part of a long-running public fallout that gained momentum after videos of Pastor Okafor’s engagement and subsequent marriage to Pearl Okafor surfaced online. Ogala had earlier alleged that she was in a romantic relationship with the cleric for several years, beginning in 2017.
According to the actress, the relationship led her to make life-altering decisions, including ending her previous marriage, based on repeated promises of marriage from Okafor. She accused the pastor of betrayal after he allegedly abandoned her to marry another woman.
As the dispute intensified, Ogala publicly demanded that Okafor either marry her or compensate her financially for breach of promise. She later escalated the demand, placing the compensation figure at N1 billion, a move that further fueled public debate and scrutiny.
Despite the threats and accusations, Okafor proceeded with both traditional and white wedding ceremonies with Pearl Okafor. In response to Ogala’s claims at the time, the cleric initially dismissed her actions as “the devil’s anger,” suggesting that the controversy was a reaction to his decision to move on with his life.
However, in a dramatic turn, Okafor later addressed his congregation during a church service, where he knelt publicly and apologised. During the apology, he admitted that Ogala’s claims regarding their past relationship were true, though he did not directly address the additional allegations involving other women.
The unfolding drama continues to attract widespread attention on social media, with many awaiting further developments as Ogala insists she is prepared to reveal more names if the accused parties remain silent.
