Nollywood actress Bimbo Thomas has shared insights into her personal life and her relationship with colleague Funke Akindele, revealing moments of danger and personal hardship.
In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, the Yoruba actress recounted a terrifying incident from years ago when armed men stormed her hotel room searching for Funke Akindele.
Bimbo said she had to hide Akindele under the bed and refused to give her up, even when her own life was threatened.
“I remember when Funke Akindele & I were in a hotel together. Arm3d men came into our room looking for her. I had to hide her under the bed. I could have easily given her up cus they came for her, but I never did—even when they threatened to k!ll me,” she recalled.
In the interview, Bimbo also opened up about deeply personal challenges, including a miscarriage that almost cost her life and her decision to commit fully to motherhood, even if it meant pausing her career. She further reflected on the impact of losing her mother and how that loss shaped her outlook on life.
