“Battle With Drugs And Alcohol Abuse” — Ned Nwoko Releases Nurse’s Explosive Statement

The public fallout between Nigerian senator Ned Nwoko and his estranged wife, actress Regina Daniels, continues to escalate, with new allegations adding fuel to an already explosive situation.

Nwoko recently took to his Twitter page to share what he described as a disturbing account from one of their former live-in nurses, identified as Dora. According to the statement attributed to the nurse, she began noticing worrying changes in Regina Daniels’ behavior, mood swings, and daily habits while working closely with her.

The nurse alleged that Daniels repeatedly asked her to procure hard drugs on her behalf. In one particularly shocking claim, Dora recounted an incident where Regina allegedly emptied a ketamine injection onto a flat plate and instructed her to microwave it until it crystallized. Alarmed by the request, the nurse said she immediately reported the incident to Nwoko.

In her statement, Dora also emphasized that “Ned does not drink or smoke” and claimed she had never witnessed him physically assault Regina Daniels.

These new allegations surfaced just days after Regina publicly addressed claims of drug addiction by voluntarily undergoing drug tests. Sharing a video of the testing process, the actress described the past few months as “nothing short of challenging,” calling it a major turning point that deeply affected her. She explained that she took the test for those who love her, support her, and look up to her.

The couple’s marital crisis first became public in October when Regina reportedly walked away from the marriage, citing domestic violence as her reason. In response, Nwoko released a public statement blaming the tension on what he described as Regina’s “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse,” claiming that his attempts to help her seek professional treatment were repeatedly rejected.

Speaking to NAN, the politician stated that he wanted Regina to enter rehab “to be alive and healthy,” not just for him, but for their children as well. He further alleged that Regina’s siblings and colleagues, including Sonia and Uche Montana, undermined his efforts by visiting uninvited and allegedly supplying her with the same substances she was being treated for.

Nwoko also claimed that during a stay in Abuja, Regina consumed drugs and alcohol in the same hotel they occupied. He said he possessed police evidence, alleging that she once blocked a hotel with her cars and contacted him to deploy the Commissioner of Police to prevent people from leaving.

Regina, however, fired back strongly. She accused Nwoko of hypocrisy, claiming he encouraged her drug use because it made her “sexier, wild and romantic.” In another explosive post, she warned him to stop, threatening to expose alleged crimes ranging from murder to land grabbing and fraud. She further alleged that Nwoko introduced her to drugs like ecstasy (Molly), claiming it helped “reduce rape” and intensified their sexual experiences.

As both parties continue to trade accusations publicly, the controversy surrounding their marriage shows no sign of slowing down.
