Nigerian superstar Wizkid has claimed the top spot on Apple Music’s 2025 Replay year-end chart for Sub-Saharan Africa with his latest album, Morayo. 


Released in November 2024, the album has dominated streaming platforms across the continent, highlighting Wizkid’s continued influence in the African music scene.


Apple Music’s annual Replay rankings provide insight into the most-streamed albums and artistes in the region, reflecting listening trends for the year. Nigerian artistes dominated the 2025 list, cementing the country’s position as a powerhouse in contemporary African music.


Following Wizkid’s Morayo, Davido’s 5ive came in second place, reinforcing the ongoing dominance of Nigeria’s top-tier artistes. The upper ranks also feature BNXN’s Captain, Burna Boy’s No Sign of Weakness, and Olamide’s self-titled album, which secured fourth, fifth, and sixth positions, respectively.
