Nollywood actress, filmmaker, and box office powerhouse Toyin Abraham has been left deeply emotional following the overwhelming love and support she received from residents of Bonny Island, Port Harcourt, during a special cinema screening of her latest movie, Oversabi Aunty.
Taking to her social media page, the award-winning actress shared striking photos and videos of the massive crowd that trooped out to watch the film. Visibly moved by the turnout, Toyin admitted that she struggled to find the right words to describe the experience.
“Bonny Island, I’m speechless. I’ve never seen such a crowd. Your love and energy are unmatched!” she wrote.
According to the filmmaker, the atmosphere at the cinema was electric, with fans showing unmatched enthusiasm and support for the project. She went on to praise the audience for their passion, noting that the love she experienced in Bonny Island was truly exceptional.
Toyin Abraham did not miss the opportunity to hype her movie, boldly declaring its dominance both locally and internationally.
“Oversabi Aunty is that MOVIE mehnnn! Even the UK is selling out back-to-back! Don’t forget, I directed this blockbuster o!” she added.
Expressing pride in her work, the actress reiterated that Oversabi Aunty has officially taken over cinemas across the country.

The emotional moment comes shortly after Toyin Abraham celebrated another major milestone in her career. Just last week, the actress announced that Oversabi Aunty had crossed the ₦100 million mark at the box office, further cementing her status as one of Nollywood’s most bankable filmmakers.
In a heartfelt reflection, the wife of actor Kolawole Ajeyemi described her journey as divinely guided, stating that while her voice comes from God, her fans are the ones who consistently shield and uplift her.
