Nollywood actress and filmmaker Iyabo Ojo has offered words of encouragement to her fans, urging them to remain focused on their personal growth and achievements rather than being weighed down by criticism and negativity from detractors.

The actress shared the advice while posting a video that gave fans a glimpse into her expansive walk-in closet as she prepared for the New Year.

Using the moment to reflect on life lessons, Iyabo Ojo encouraged people to prioritise peace of mind and mental health, noting that success remains the loudest response to hate.

“Stop stressing, let your success do the talking. Embrace peace of mind and be a little bit petty like me. The feeling is unmatched,” she said.

According to the actress, engaging with critics often drains energy that could be better channelled into building a meaningful and fulfilling life. She advised her followers to ignore distractions and allow their progress to naturally silence opposition.

Iyabo Ojo went further to offer prayers for her fans, urging them to remain resilient despite challenges and deliberate attempts by others to pull them down.

She expressed confidence that genuine success, backed by divine grace, cannot be destroyed by envy or manipulation.

“May your enemies continue to dance mad in the market square while you watch and laugh. May your success baffle them, and may your joy be their pain and frustration,” she prayed.

Reflecting on the past year, the actress acknowledged that 2025 came with its fair share of trials. She recalled moments of intense public scrutiny, including the attention surrounding her daughter Priscilla’s wedding, an inquiry by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over money spraying, and a fire incident at her office.

Despite these setbacks, Iyabo Ojo expressed gratitude for what she described as divine protection and the support of her staff.

She revealed that no lives were lost during the fire incident and that her business survived the ordeal, a development she described as a testament to grace and perseverance.

She also reiterated her belief that no amount of falsehood, hatred, or manipulation can undo what God has ordained. “Whoever God has blessed, no psycho villain can destroy. No matter the lies or people they pay to bring you down, they are only digging their own pit,” she stated.

The post sparked mixed but intense reactions across social media, with many fans praising the actress for her confidence, fashion sense, and resilience.

While some applauded her openness and message of self-worth, others used the opportunity to share humorous and controversial takes, keeping the conversation buzzing online.

Iyabo Ojo remains one of Nollywood’s most talked-about figures, known not only for her acting career but also for her unapologetic personality and outspoken views.

Her latest message once again positions her as a voice encouraging self-belief, perseverance, and mental wellness in the face of public pressure.
