The online feud between Nigerian actress Angela Okorie and her former partner, Oil Money, has intensified after he released what he described as a WhatsApp conversation with Angela’s brother.
The entertainment entrepreneur stirred social media controversy on Saturday, November 29, after posting a chat where the alleged brother thanked him for sending N3 million to their mother for rent and upkeep. According to Oil Money, this was proof that Angela Okorie had abandoned her mother, leaving him to shoulder responsibilities.
Not stopping there, Oil Money publicly mocked the actress, accusing her of living a “fake celebrity lifestyle” on Instagram while failing to acquire property in real life. He openly taunted her, writing:
“Grandma Angela Okorie, try buy at least one land before forming big girl online.”
The jab immediately triggered a response from Angela Okorie, who took to her Instagram story to unleash heavy accusations. She claimed Oil Money had been using AI-generated photos to boost his social media image, insisting that he was obsessed with copying her lifestyle.
In her words: “Person wey all him pictures na AI… he wants to live my lifestyle so bad. Hungry man. His nine children and seven baby mamas need that money.”
Angela didn’t stop there. She challenged him to reveal his UK location if he truly had nothing to hide, adding in another post:
“Person wey never even chop dey talk who beg am for money.”
Meanwhile, reactions from fans flooded the comment section. While some supporters praised Oil Money for helping Angela’s mother, others criticized the entire drama as unnecessary. Comments ranged from, “God bless your kind heart king”, to more skeptical notes like, “All this are not necessary Sir, these can be arranged too.”
The heated exchange has quickly become one of the most talked-about celebrity clashes online, fueling conversations about “fake life,” family responsibilities, AI-enhanced identities, and public image in the entertainment industry
