Nigerian activist and social crusader, VDM, continues to expand the reach and structure of his fast-growing Ratel Movement, months after unveiling the official logo and announcing a nationwide community initiative.
The activist had earlier launched a national programme where Ratel members across Nigeria would participate in monthly environmental clean-up exercises, scheduled for every last Saturday of the month—a move many supporters hailed as a step toward community development and citizen-led accountability.
In a newly shared video posted by his lawyer, Barrister Deji Adeyanju, supporters were given an exclusive tour of VDM’s newly acquired operational headquarters. The visit, recorded and posted by Adeyanju, provided a first look into the fast-developing facility that will serve as the official hub of the movement.
The office, a freshly painted white storey building, features multiple rooms designated for specific operational tasks. During the walkthrough, VDM revealed that one room has been earmarked as the reception area, while another has been set aside as a fully equipped studio for media content, announcements, and activism-driven broadcasts. He also highlighted a dedicated customer care workspace, where staff will attend to inquiries and process community complaints.
A larger hall within the structure is being prepared for conferences, strategy meetings, and movement-wide briefings. VDM also showcased a functional kitchen, explaining that meals will be prepared daily for staff members working long hours to support the movement’s activities.
According to VDM, the headquarters is designed to handle infrastructure requests and citizens’ complaints. Community members in need of essential amenities such as boreholes, electrification, or road repairs will be able to walk into the customer care unit to officially submit their requests.
Supporters flooded the comment section with praise and encouragement:
