Nigerian investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has made explosive claims regarding actress Regina Daniels and her alleged drug use, raising concerns about the star’s health and safety.
In a series of Instagram stories, Olunloyo said she had seen toxicology reports for Regina, which indicated 14 substances were tested, with six showing dangerously high levels. She accused people around the actress of exploiting her, providing drugs in exchange for financial gain, and said this has left her addicted.
“The toxicology tests of Regina I saw dated September 29th, 2025, showed 14 drugs tested with 6 at health toxic levels, namely what her husband posted, Cocaine, Morphine, Opiates, Marijuana, ETG, Alcohol, Ketamine. They sicked Regina’s money dry in exchange for drugs and got her addicted and hooked. I support Senator Ned Nwoko arresting everyone involved, like America. She is now having anxiety, depression and extreme withdrawal and should immediately go back to rehab, or could lose her life,” Olunloyo wrote.
She also addressed allegations that she was working on behalf of Ned Nwoko, stressing that she has never accepted bribes for her reporting.
“Previously, a bunch of you morons accused me of working for Ned, whatever that meant. Stop accusing people of bribery for stories. I was never a brown envelope journalist in my 31-year career or now. The MSM will never tell you the truth. Regina’s life is in danger. She reportedly had an almost overdose 2 weeks ago in Lagos. I support Senator Nwoko arresting those who supplied her drugs, and Sammy is one of them and should be charged with endangering her life as well as drug trafficking charges,” she added.
In earlier posts, Olunloyo alleged that Ned told her he was not home when Regina allegedly damaged his property, slapped two nannies and her driver, and was under the influence of drugs.
The controversy follows a public statement by Ned Nwoko, in which he attributed tension in their household to Regina’s “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse.” He claimed that efforts to seek professional treatment were resisted and alleged that Regina had assaulted three domestic staff and damaged property.
Meanwhile, Regina’s elder brother, Sweezzy, dismissed Ned’s claims of drug abuse, noting that no couple is perfect. Their younger sister, Destiny Daniels, shared photos of injuries she said Regina sustained from Ned, while denying reports of a reconciliation between the actress and the senator.
This situation has intensified ongoing public scrutiny over Regina Daniels’ personal life and safety, with calls from Olunloyo and others for urgent intervention.
