Regina Daniels mother Alleges Arrest Warrant Issued Against Her By Ned Nwoko Amid Family Drama

Nollywood veteran Rita Daniels, mother of actress Regina Daniels, has revealed that her son-in-law, politician Ned Nwoko, has reportedly issued an arrest warrant against her. She claims she is at risk of being detained on or before Monday.

“Ned has issued an arrest warrant against me. I should be arrested on or before Monday,” Rita Daniels stated, raising alarms on social media.

The revelation comes days after reports that Rita and her estranged husband had traveled to Abuja to advocate for the release of their son, Sammy West, who has allegedly been detained. In an Instagram post, Rita shared a distressing photo of her son, appealing to the public for support.

During the height of her son’s arrest, Rita Daniels criticized Ned Nwoko, accusing him of ingratitude and exploiting Regina for fame. She claimed the politician married her daughter to leverage her celebrity status to boost his own image, warning, “He will go down if he thinks he can bite the finger that fed him.”

The ongoing family conflict has also involved Regina Daniels, who on Monday publicly addressed her brother’s alleged arrest. She accused Ned of attempting to force her back into the marriage and sending her to rehab. Regina explained that she had been trying to remain composed, urging him to leave her family alone.

In another post, she lamented the treatment of her brother, stating that he had been beaten like a criminal by the Nigerian police and questioning the rationale behind the violent arrest. She noted, “Ned thinks he has power, connections, and money, and believes I don’t.”

Regina further described her confrontation with her ex-husband as a struggle of “aura for aura,” insisting she does not regret her marriage, which she described as a path she was meant to take, though not her ultimate destination.

The controversy erupted last week when Regina alleged she had suffered domestic violence in her marriage. A viral video showed the actress in tears, stating, “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a queen,” drawing widespread concern from fans and industry colleagues.
