Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has continued her public feud with estranged husband Senator Ned Nwoko, accusing him of orchestrating the arrest of her brother.
On Monday night, Daniels took to social media to appeal to the public, claiming that Ned allegedly ordered the arrest of her siblings to pressure her into returning to him and a rehabilitation facility. She emphasized her attempts to stay calm while urging him to leave her family alone.
“Imagine the Nigerian police beating up my brother like a criminal. What exactly was the violent arrest for?
Ned, you have power, connections and money, right? Wild for you to think I have none.
What I wouldn’t want to do to you is to let the man I see, or rather once saw as an iroko tree, fall before everyone because you bloody know your ‘little girl Gin’ is capable of that!
I just hate this feeling of wishing my boys father’s name remains a legacy. You know why? Boys don’t grow to change their surnames,” Daniels wrote.
The actress had previously alleged that she experienced domestic violence in her marriage to Ned. In a viral clip, she was seen crying as she claimed that in her husband’s house, she is not treated like a queen.
In response, Nwoko attributed the tension to Daniels’ “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse,” alleging that she resisted professional treatment and displayed violent behavior at home, including assaulting domestic staff and destroying property.
Daniels’ family has defended her publicly. Her brother Sammy West, who appeared in the viral clip protecting her, condemned Ned for assaulting his sister, saying he does not condone the beating of women. Their elder brother, Sweezzy, dismissed Ned’s claims of drug abuse, noting that no couple is perfect. Meanwhile, younger sister Destiny Daniels shared photos of the actress’ scars, debunking claims that Regina had reconciled with her husband.
