Nigerian music star Davido has once again used his platform to draw attention to the ongoing social issues and violence in the country. The singer, who recently held a sold-out concert in Atlanta, shared a video of the performance on Instagram alongside a heartfelt message reflecting both gratitude and concern for his homeland.

“ATL!!! Thank you for the birthday love, State Farm, three years in a row! But even as we celebrate, my heart is with home. Nigeria is going through too much… our people deserve peace. More life, more love, more change,” Davido wrote, highlighting his empathy for the challenges Nigerians are currently facing.

Just days before, Davido had publicly expressed heartbreak over the recent abduction of young girls in Kebbi State. He reflected on the trauma such incidents bring to families, noting that “no family deserves such pain,” and urged Nigerians to stand united. In another post, he expressed sadness over the tragic attack on a church in Kwara State, praying for the victims and their families. The singer emphasized that “these acts of violence must never become our norms,” underscoring the urgent need for societal change and protection for citizens.
